PORRADA PRO BJJ - Gi & No-gi

Rules and format:

Modified IBJJF rule set (no advantages, only submissions and points) in all Gi and no-gi divisions. 

Round robin format (each competitor fights against everyone in his bracket, having up to 5 fights in a single division) in all weiht divisions. 

If there are only two competitors in the bracket, the format will be the best of two fights. If after two fights it ends up tied, there’ll be a third match to decide the champion

In all open weight (cash prize) divisions the format will be the single elimination.

CASH PRIZE IN ALL OPEN WEIGHT DIVISION, GI and NO-GI, EVERY BELT, MALE and FEMALE, as follows 

MALE:  

White belt - $100  

Blue belt - $200  

Purple belt - $250  

Brown and black belts (combined) - $500  

FEMALE:  

White and blue belts (combined) - $200  

Purple, brown and black belts (combined) - $500 

To register in the open weight division the competitor must be registered in a weight division.

The cash prize on the open weight divisions are only for brackets with 6 or more competitors.

SUPER FIGHTS to be announced

5 minutes all adult fights. 
 

Kids fights:  

2 minutes (4/5/6 years old),  

3 minutes (7/8/9 years old),  

4 minutes (10/11/12/13/14/15 years old).

All competitors will get an exclusive PORRADA PRO BJJ tshirt for FREE. The shirts will be taken on the event upon apresentation of an identity card. 

Champions of divisions may also get prizes from the event sponsors. i.e. finger tapes, vitamins & suplements, and much more. 

Custom medal for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place in all kids and adults divisions.  

Custom trophy for the champion team overall.

Brackets and completed divisions will be released at 8:00PM Friday 15th of October.  

Door's to open at 8:30am on Sunday 17th of October.  

Weigh in and athlete check in from 8:30am, with priority to the competitors on the divisions that will start earlier.  

Weigh in wearing the attire of the division which the athlete will compete. If the competitor is registered to fight in both gi and no-gi, he must weigh in with his gi on.  

200 grams of maximum tolerance above the weight limit for all divisions. 

Matches to begin from 9:00am.

Spectator entry fee is $10. Cash only. 

Competitors under 16 year old may bring a parent or guardian for FREE. 

Team head coaches are FREE.  

Children under 12 years old are FREE.

PORRADA PRO BJJ ALSO WILL ENSURE THAT ADDITION PRACTICES ARE IMPLEMENTED FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL INVOLVED IN THE EVENT TO MINIMISE THE SPREAD OF THE COVID-19 VIRUS.
