** Professional MMA fighters can enter the No-gi competition free of charge, however they must enter at Advanced level (please message the Facebook page directly for entry)

Antrim Forum, Antrim, Northern Ireland

Details:

•  Gi and No-Gi event (Gi only White and Blue belts, No-gi open to all levels)

• Repechage brackets guaranteeing a minumum of two matches*

Gi:

All brackets will follow IBJJF rule set

No-Gi:

Sub only!

Beginner - No BJJ blue belts. No Judo Black belts. No Professional or Amateur MMA fighters.

Intermediate - less than 3 years experience. Bjj blue belts and below.  No Professional MMA fighters.

Advanced - 3 years experience and above - Heel hooks, reaping, permitted as part of the modified rule set.

In the event of no submission within the regulation time limit, a first to score setting will be applied (as per IBJJF point scoring system)

For No-Gi a Rash guard and shorts must be worn to compete, spats underneath shorts are permissible. You will be not be allowed to compete if you wear loose fitting clothing, or clothing with zips or studs etc. Failure to comply could result in disqualification.

*If there are less than 3 entries in a division, competitors will be contacted to see whether they wish to merge divisions, or be moved down an age group in the event of master entries. This is to prevent competitors being left with no matches in their division. If this is not an option, and there is no one in a competitors division, and they are unable to compete in a higher category, then a refund will be issued.
