YOUTH ATHLETE DISCLAIMER:

Youth Athletes are provided a 2 lbs allowance; however, in fairness to all Youth Athletes, please consider registering your Youth Athlete up a weight class if they are bordering the heavier division to avoid potential disqualification. Youth Athletes weighing over the 2 lbs allowance will be subject to disqualification.

MOVEMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY:

No movement requests are processed by CBJJF Staff via email while Registration is open.

Changes to any Athlete's Registration, or Cancellation to any Athlete's Registration, MUST be initiated by the Adult Athlete or Youth Athlete's Parent/Guardian in Smoothcomp. Login to your profile and select "My Account". Then, click "Edit" for this event. To cancel an athlete's registration, click "Cancel".

NO MOVEMENT REQUESTS ARE PERMITTED AFTER LATE REGISTRATION CLOSES AND OUR SCHEDULE IS RELEASED. PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE IN THE APPROPRIATE WEIGHT CLASS BEFORE LATE REGISTRATION ENDS.

Adult Athletes, and Parents/Guardians of Youth Athletes, are SOLELY responsible for ensuring they are registered in the proper weight category BEFORE Late Registration Closes.

NO movement accommodations are made the day of the event UNLESS an Athlete becomes the sole competitor AND the CBJJF Head Table determines it is possible to move the Athlete up a weight class. This decision is at the sole discretion of the CBJJF Head Table and is likely ONLY possible if there is ample time before the next weight class division begins.

REFUND & CREDIT POLICY:

UPDATE: 5% processing fee applies to refunds and credits until normal registration closes. Cancelations within Late Registration are subject to a 50% credit. NO credits or refunds are available after Late Registration closes.

95% Refunds are available until Saturday, March 18th
95% Credits are available until Friday, April 14th
50% Credits are available until Monday, May 1st
NO Credits or Refunds are available after Monday, May 1st

REGISTRATION GUIDELINES:

• Athletes can only register for ONE Gi and ONE No Gi Division.
• Athletes competing in Gi and No Gi MUST register for at least the same weight class
• Athletes competing in Gi and No Gi must weigh in ONCE with Gi & belt on
• Athletes must be registered using their age as of the date of the tournament
• Male Athletes are single elimination
• Female and Youth Athletes are guaranteed two matches, unless their opponent is a no show, or is disqualified the day of the event
• Youth Athletes are provided a 2 lbs allowance at weigh-in (AVOID DISQUALIFICATION & MOVE UP A WEIGHT CLASS IF YOUR YOUTH ATHLETE MAY REQUIRE THE  2 lbs ALLOWANCE!)
• Youth Athletes 16 years of age or older MUST request a Parental Consent Form from [email protected] in order to compete in an Adult (18+) Division

• Adult & Masters Athletes are combined for No Gi

• If Adult & Masters Athletes are registered for Expert No Gi - IBJJF Black Belt Rules, plus Heel Hooks & Reaping apply

ADULT & MASTERS ABSOLUTE DIVISIONS:

• Available to MALE Athletes - Blue/Purple/Brown
• Available to FEMALE Athletes - All Belt Levels
• Athletes must medal in their division to be eligible for Absolutes
• Athletes must sign up at the Podium - ***FIRST PLACE CASH PRIZES UP TO $500***
• Minimum of 4 athletes to trigger cash prize

Youth (One Division - Gi or No Gi):
Early-Bird Registration: $70 per athlete
Normal Registration: $85 per athlete
Late Registration: $100 per athlete

Youth (Two Divisions - Gi and No Gi)
Early-Bird Registration: $110 per athlete
Normal Registration: $125 per athlete
Late Registration: $140 per athlete

Male Adult and Masters (One Division - Gi or No Gi)*:
Early-Bird Registration: $90 per athlete
Normal Registration: $105 per athlete
Late Registration: $120 per athlete

Male Adult and Masters (Two Divisions - Gi and No Gi)*:
Early-Bird Registration: $150 per athlete
Normal Registration: $165 per athlete
Late Registration: $180 per athlete

Female Adult and Masters (One Division - Gi or No Gi)*:
Early-Bird Registration: $80 per athlete
Normal Registration: $95 per athlete
Late Registration: $110 per athlete

Female Adult and Masters (Two Divisions - Gi and No Gi)*:

COACH PASSES

All Coaches must apply for a Coach Pass at www.cbjjf.org/coachpass BEFORE Late Registration closes. The number of Coaches Passes issued to a school is determined by the number of athletes registered to compete.
