You are cordially invited to the inaugural Bay Area Judo Championships, to be held Sunday, July 16th, 2023 in Castro Valley, California. We hope to provide an opportunity for Northern California judokas of all ages to test their skills against each other in a convenient location. 

PLEASE NOTE: All judokas with current USA Judo membership are welcome to attend. If you do not have USA Judo membership, and instead have membership in another national judo organization, you must fill out an additional waiver. Private insurance has been obtained so that all competitors can participate with peace of mind.

The Bay Area Judo Championships will feature:

• Easy to understand age and weight brackets for all ages and ability levels.
• A full slate of divisions for Masters/Veterans level competitors (age 30+), including NOVICE divisions
• Beautiful medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place to reward your hard work
• Easy registration via Smoothcomp
• Judo Submission Grappling divisions for a taste of “old school judo” that includes leg grabs, chokes and armbars. 

$50 Pre-Registration UNTIL June 30th, 2023

$60 Registration July 1st - July 7th

$75 Late Registration July 8th - July 14th

SATELLITE WEIGH INS: 

All satellite weigh ins will take place on Thursday, July 13th, 2023 (except Santa Clara PAL, which will do it on Wednesday the 12th, see below). Satellite weigh ins will be accepted as official weights, there will be no need to come to official weigh ins on Saturday.
