Rules & T&C'S

Our Rules

The London Warriors Cup Team have always prided themselves on bringing top, professional and well respected referees to our events. When you invest your time, money and emotion in competing in n event, you deserve to be judged by professionals. This year will be no different.

Our referee team consists only of highly experienced, qualified, black belt referees.

We are running an adapted rule set this year to accommodate as many fighters as possible.

- All matches will be 5 minutes

- Purple Belt NO GI only, heel hooks and toe holds will be allowed

- Other IBJJF Rules as standard

Terms & Conditions

+ Registration may close earlier than the date advertised as entry will close once the event is at full capacity.

+ All competitors must sign our waiver and agree to the rules regarding COVID-19.

+ The organiser reserves the right to refuse admission to any athlete or spectator.

+ Prizes are given at the discretion of the organizer. Any prize may be withdrawn or altered without notice at any time. All prizes will be awarded solely to the winning competitor and are not transferable. No cash substitutes will be offered for non cash prizes.

+ Registration fees are non refundable and non transferrable, except in the event that a competitor is unable to attend due to testing positive for COVID-19. In this case, please send us a copy of a relevant PCR test (including name and date) for a full refund.

+ The organizers will not make any changes to registrations.  If you are alone in your bracket you have the option to move yourself into a higher weight division (or lower age division if master) if you so wish, or withdraw your name from the tournament before the deadline for changes ends. Once the deadline has passed, you will be offered a default medal and no refunds will be offered. It is the competitors responsibility to make changes to their own registration. Information on how these changes can be made can be found on the Smoothcomp Knowledge base.

+ There will be one adult absolute division per (Gi & No Gi) belt ranking which is open to adult and master competitors.

+ In relation to Absolute Divisions 'Winner Takes All', means that the total purse accumulated from registrations for that division will be awarded to the winner of the division. You must register for the Absolute in advance of the event day. Prize fund will be calculated according to how many competitors are in the bracket (e.g 12 competitors @ £15 = prize fund of £180).

+ Wherever we are able to offer prizes for female divisions, the prizes will always be equal to the male division.
