National Grappling League appreciates all the work that goes into making all the upcoming killer athletes, so we have decided to add a team trophy to acknowledge their success. 

 We understand that even though jiu jitsu medals are a solo achievement, any achievement is impossible without a strong team of solid hardworking training partners and coaches.

This trophy will be awarded to the team with the most points tallied at the end of each competition. After the tournament has ended, the winning academy has the option to take the trophy back to showcase it at their gym. We will then engrave the champions' names and date to the back of the trophy to cement it and remember their achievement. 

Points system: 

For each win, competitors will earn 1 point for their academy, on top of that competitors will get extra points for placement as shown below.

Gold medal: 5pts

Silver medal: 3pts

Bronze medal: 2pts
