In conjunction to bring out greater athletes for Jiu-Jitsu in Malaysia, we are honoured to
announce that COPA is RECOGNISED by MALAYSIA JIU-JITSU FEDERATION.
COPA now has a National Ranking Point system for all athletes.
Scoring systems easily measured points from athletes into a statistical algorithm that
provides a single score.

Rules and details of tournament:
Copa Da Malásia Grappling tournament strictly follows the rules applied by the
IBJJF (International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation) during combat and brackets
determination. Registration, weight classes / allowance and Gi or rashguard
allowance are based on Copa Da Malasia's Rules.
ATTIRE
➔ ONLY black, blue and white gis are allowed for competition.
➔ ONLY rash guards, spats and BJJ/MMA pants are allowed for competition.

Weigh ins
➔ FULL competition attire is required upon weigh-ins.
➔ Each competitor are required to weigh-in and register prior to competition day
itself.
➔ Competitors are given 300g weight allowance.
How do I Register?
1. Register by clicking the "register to event" button.
2. If you have an account log in and sign up.
2. If you don't have an account just register for the event and it will automatically make an account for you.
3. You are done. Just make sure to keep your weight class up to date.

Our pricing structure is very simple. We reward competitors that sign up in advance.

Benefits
We keep track of all the matches you compete in on your user profile. Your online profile also has some very nice features such as a submission/win tracker and tagged photos of you at our events. We also record and upload every match to each competitor's profile (Every Mat has a camera recording all matches).
FAQ
- When is the last day to change weight?
The last day to change weight classes is 2 day before the event. You must make weight to fight at the event.
- When Will I Compete?
Competitors bracket times will be released FRIDAY night before the event. Provided we have your correct cell number you will receive a text message with this information.
- When do I weigh-in?
Weight-in for both the GI and NO-GI divisions opens on Saturday, 14 January 2023, from 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM.
You must weigh-in anytime from the event opening until before your scheduled division starts time. You must have officially weighed in by this hour before your division time and have made the weight, or else you will be disqualified and removed from the bracket.
- Do I weigh-in with Gi?
Yes, weigh-in with a Gi.
- Is there a weight allowance?
We allow adult competitors to be within 0.3 kg of their weight class. For example, in the 60 kilograms weight class we accept up to 60.3 kg.
- Can a coach/ cornerman be with a competitor during competition?
Yes, each competitor will be allowed to bring one coach/cornerman.
Spectators are allowed to be in the competition venue.
* Organizers held the responsibility to adjust or change the weight categories to ensure all participants to compete.
** No refund for cancelling any registration or for ending up alone in the bracket.
