RGV Spring Open 2023 Update:

-Tournament starts at 10am with Kids and Teens. Adult male and female divisions will start at approximately 1pm. Please check your start time for your first match.

-Competitors are kindly asked to show up 1 hour prior to their first match, and then head out soon after they've completed all matches. This is to minimize the amount of people inside the venue - 2 coaches per gym allowed.

**MASKS ARE OPTIONAL**

Spectator fee is $5.00 for each non-competitor, this can be paid by cash or credit card at the door.

Saturday Weigh-Ins -04/29/23

Weigh-ins start at 8:00am at Edinburg DHR Sports and Wellness Center and are continuous throughout the day on Saturday. Weigh in up to an hour prior to your first match time.

Kids, Teens, Adult Women and Adult Men can show up about an hour prior to the first match to weigh in. Please look at match times and plan appropriately. For a smoother tournament, please be signed up in the correct weight class and be on weight, otherwise you may be disqualified. ALL WEIGH INS ARE WITHOUT THE GI.

IMPORTANT!!!!!!

IF YOU WEIGH IN ON FRIDAY AND ARE OVERWEIGHT, YOU WILL BE MOVED UP.  IF YOU WEIGH IN ON SATURDAY AND ARE OVERWEIGHT, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ADJUST BRACKETS AS NEEDED IF THERE ARE NO OTHER COMPETITORS IN THE BRACKET OR IF YOU DO NOT MAKE YOUR WEIGHT CLASS.

ALL MATCH TIMES ARE APPROXIMATE, PLEASE CHECK YOUR MATCH NUMBER(S) AND MATCH TIME(S). ONCE YOU ARE CALLED FOR YOUR MATCH AND YOU DO NOT SHOW, YOU WILL HAVE 20 MINUTES TO CHECK IN WITH THE SCOREKEEPER. YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED IF YOU DO NOT SHOW UP WITHIN 20 MINUTES.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE IN THE CORRECT WEIGHT DIVISION AND THAT YOU ARE AT WEIGHT, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!!! WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ADJUST BRACKETS AS NEEDED.
