Kids & Teens:

Beginner: White belts only.

Intermediate: Grey belts at max.

Advanced: Yellow and orange belts at max.

Expert: Green and Blue belts at max.

Adults:

Novice: First competition and/or they have up to six months of grappling experience. White belts only.

Beginner: Up to two years of grappling experience. BJJ white belts and Luta Livre orange belts at max.

Advanced: Up to five years of grappling experience. BJJ and Luta Livre bluebelts at max.

Expert/Pro:  MMA-Pros / purple belts and up.

WEIGHT TOLERANCE:

1kg / 2.2lb tolerance

FIGHT TIME:

Kids (up to 11 years):Three minutes (1:30/1:30)

Teens (12 years and up): Four minutes (2/2)

Novice: Four minutes (2/2)

Beginner: Five minutes (2:30/2:30)

Advanced: Six minutes (3/3)

Expert/Pro: Six minutes (3/3)

END OF A FIGHT:

• Submission: When a fighter taps out due to a joint lock or chokehold, the match ends.
• Points: If no submission occurs, the fighter with more points at the end wins.
• Referee's Decision: If there's no submission or clear points winner in regular time, the referee can make a decision to determine the winner.
• Disqualification: Violating rules can lead to disqualification and a win for the opponent.
• Injury: If a fighter gets injured and can't continue, their opponent may win by default.
