Below is an explanation of the formats for the day for each category.

If you enter a tournament then your registration fee (£25.00 Normal Registration/£30.00 Late Registration) will also act as a spectator ticket for the evening invitational (worth £20.00).

TIMINGS (APPROX)

- Doors Open - 12:30pm

- Weigh-Ins (Tournament) - 12:30pm to 1:30pm

- Weigh-Ins (Invitational) - 12:30pm to 4:00pm

- Spectators - 1pm

- Rules Meeting (Tournament) - 1:30pm

- Tournament Bouts Start - 2pm

- Rules Meeting (Invitational) - 4pm

- Invitational Bouts Start - 5pm

  

WHITE BELT (16 MAN) NO-GI TOURNAMENT

- Openweight (but must be under 90.00kgs)

- IBJJF White Belt No-Gi Rules

- Must be a BJJ White Belt and/or training less than 2 years

- Sub Only

- If no submission after 6 minutes, judge(s) will declare a winner

- Random Draw for each round

- Final will take place on Invitational Card later in the day

  

BLUE BELT (16 MAN) NO-GI TOURNAMENT

- Openweight (but must be under 90.00kgs)

- IBJJF Blue Belt No-Gi Rules

- Must be a BJJ Blue Belt and training less than 4 years

- Sub Only

- If no submission after 6 minutes, judge(s) will declare a winner

- Random Draw for each round

- Final will take place on Invitational Card later in the day

  

WHITE/BLUE BELT (16 WOMAN) NO-GI TOURNAMENT

- Openweight (but must be under 70.00kgs)

- IBJJF Blue Belt No-Gi Rules

- Must be a BJJ White or Blue Belt and/or training less than 4 years

- Sub Only

- If no submission after 6 minutes, judge(s) will declare a winner

- Random Draw for each round

- Final will take place on Invitational Card later in the day

INVITATIONAL CARD

- Sub only rule set:

*All submission allowed (including neck cranks, knee reaping, heel hooks, smothers etc)

*No slams of any kind. Hard takedowns are fine, but must be one continuous motion

- All bouts will be 10 minutes

- If no submission after 10 minutes, judge(s) will declare a winner
