Weigh In

WEIGH INS

You must make weight on the day or you cannot fight

You can only weigh in when your name is displayed on the screen, not earlier.

If you are competing in Gi and No Gi,  you will be weighed in once, before your first Gi fight. You will not need to weigh in again later for No Gi.

However, if you are ONLY competing in No Gi, then you will be weighed in before your first No Gi fight in the afternoon, when your name is displayed on the screen.

You MUST be wearing all your uniform when you weigh in.

So for Gi, wear jacket, trousers and belt. Men cannot wear rashguards under their Gi.

Women can wear rashguards under their Gi.

For No Gi, wear rashguard and shorts (border shorts). You can wear grappling tights under your shorts, but you cannot wear only grappling tights. No vale tudo shorts allowed.

You are responsible for making weight. If you cannot make weight on the day you will not be able to fight.  If you think you will not make weight then change your weight category before midnight on 4th June. Changes cannot be made on the day.

Any changes must be made by yourself by logging into your smoothcomp account.
