Match Format

All regular kids and adults divisions will be a round robin style format. ABSOLUTE divisions will be a single elimination format.

Match length

Kids matches will be 3 minutes long. If a winner has not been determined by submission, it will go to overtime. There will be ONE 1 minute overtime period, (one offense, one defense) the fastest escape or submission will be determined the winner.

Adult matches will be 5 minutes long. If a winner has not been determined by submission, it will go to overtime. There will be ONE 2 minute overtime period, (one offense, one defense) the fastest escape or submission will be determined the winner.

  ABSOLUTE divisions will be 6 minutes long. If a winner has not been determined by submission, it will go to overtime. There will be ONE 2 minute overtime period. In the Finals there will be THREE 2 minute overtime periods, (three offense, three defense) the fastest escape or submission will be determined the winner.
