Check-In, Weigh-in, and Start Times

Friday night weigh-in available from 7-9 PM.

Saturday morning: the facility will open at 8:30 AM for for Junior, Veteran, and NeWaza division weigh-ins. Check in and Weigh-in for these divisions will be closed at 9:30 am.

Senior weigh-in to begin at 10:00 am.

Shiai will begin at 10:00 am with Junior, Veteran, and NeWaza Divisions. 

Hotels

The Holiday Inn in Durham will have a block of rooms available for reservation at a discounted rate of $113; please use the code WJG.

Other hotels in nearby Dover and Portsmouth are convenient and only ~10-15 minutes away from the tournament site. 

Parking

Free parking is available in the Elliott Alumni Lot just behind the Rec Center, or nearby in Lot A. Take a right at Main St., go through the traffic light and over the bridge.  Take the 1st right and proceed into the lot. 

Directions

From I-95

Take exit 4 (on 95 North) or 5 (on 95 South) onto Route 16 North, Spaulding Turnpike.  Take exit 6W (Route 4 West) heading toward Concord.  After passing the exit for Route 108, there will be a traffic light at Madbury Rd.  Take a left onto Madbury Rd, then right onto Edgewood Road.  On the corner of Edgewood and Main St is the Hamel Rec Center.

From Route 101

Take exit 7 onto Route 125 and head north.  Take the first right onto Route 4 East at the traffic circle in Lee.  At the traffic light, take a right onto Madbury Rd, then another right onto Edgewood Road.  On the corner of Edgewood and Main St. is the Hamel Rec Center.

From Route 4 (East)

Take a left onto Madbury Rd, then right onto Edgewood Road.  On the corner of Edgewood and Main St is the Hamel Rec Center.

From Route 4 (West)

Go halfway around the traffic circle in Lee, staying on Route 4 east, then follow directions above for Rt. 101.
