BROWN AND BLACK BELT SUPER BRACKET

Saturday Evening of Day 1 after the regular tournament, we will feature a Brown Belt and Black Belt Female -145lb Super Bracket Showcase!  Where local talent (and whoever else shows up) has the opportunity to fight Trinity Pun (single elimination, random draw).  Sandwiched between the Super Bracket Matches will be Superfights featuring some of the best upcoming youth and adult grapplers.
*Please note, this portion takes part at the Omniplex Curling Rink, after a brief down period after the main tournament.

There will be plenty of time between the regular tournament and these superfights for people to grab food and relax.  These brown belt and black belt superfights will only go for a couple of action packed hours, so athletes looking to rest before their no gi divisions the next day won't have to worry.  In fact, they will likely be inspired!

This is an all ages show*.  Bar service will be provided in the lounge.  There will be a concession with great snack options!

SUPERFIGHT REGISTRATION:
- $50 Registration
- Bracket is Random Draw, Single Elimination
- Winner Receives $$ and special Custom Belt

This is meant to be a fun showcase while still being competitive. Your students would love to see you compete and this is equally for them and the Jiu Jitsu community.

- Please also include a walkout song

MATCH RULES (most matches):
- IBJJF Ruleset (no advantages)
- Sub Only
- 10 Minute Matches

TIE BREAKER RULES:
- if no decision after regular time, an additional 5 Minute Overtime will determine the winner. 
- If no result in this extra time, there will be rounds of (spiderweb OR back control OR scarf hold) with position decided via the 5 Minute Overtime.
- All athletes will start in Spiderweb, unless they were able to achieve Top Mount or Back Mount during the 5 Minute Overtime (they can then start in Back Mount or Scarf Hold).
- Each Round, each athlete will have up to 1 Minute in the position to Escape or Submit. 
- Fastest escape time or fastest submission time wins.
- If only one athlete achieved a submission, they win.
- If it takes longer than 3 rounds (previously zero escapes or submissions) then a 4th and final round will occur, with up to 2 minutes in that position.  The fastest escape time or fastest submission time will determine the winner.  If STILL no result after these 2 x 3 minute rounds, it will go to referee/crowd decision.
