Kids:

In the case where a child is alone in a division when registrations close, we will move them up ONE level in EITHER age or weight (not skill).

Youths:

The above rule applies to youths as well, however we will also consider merging 16-17 year old advanced and expert youths into the adult beginner division for their weight. 

Adults:

If you are alone in a division, we will merge you up a weight class. If there is no one in your master's division, we will merge you into the respective adult's division.

If you/your child has been moved and you're not happy:

When registrations close, we make preliminary groupings, and send an email out - If your child has been moved and you would like your child to be moved somewhere else, reply to that email ASAP with their name and the division you would like them moved into (one that already has competitors in it). If you'd rather take a refund, just let us know and we'll process one.

If you/your child are alone in a division after the groupings email is sent:

When registrations close, we make preliminary groupings, and send an email out - if you are still alone in a division, this means we were unable to find you a suitable merge, and if no action is taken, a refund will be processed. 

If you can see a division you'd like to be merged into, please reply to that email ASAP with division details (one that already has competitors in it).
