STRAIGHT BLAST GRAPPLING TOURNAMENT (May 27/28)

We want the best athlete experience.  We will be running two brackets at a time to ensure proper breaks between matches, and to help make it predictable for spectators/coaches/parents.

This tournament is geared to be beginner friendly, with additional options for more experienced grapplers.
- Round Robin means up to four fights per athlete per division
- We will not be restricting Gi colors - let your character shine!
- We will do our best to create brackets of 5 athletes based on rank and weight
- If a Group of 3 is necessary, it will be Double Round Robin (four matches per athlete)
- Early weigh-ins available Friday night, or anytime before your first match

THIS IS A TWO DAY EVENT:
Day 1
- Gi Only. 
- All Ages. 
- Adult White, Blue, and Purple Belts.
- Juvenile Colored Belt Open Division for Boys (16 - 17).
- Juvenile Colored Belt Open Division for Girls (15 - 17).
- Adult Open Weight Absolute Divisions for Male Blue and Purple Belts (who medal in regular division)
- Adult Open Weight Absolute Division for all interested Females

In the EVENING of Day 1
- Brown and Black Belt Superfights Main Card
- Teen, Juvenile, Blue and Purple Belt Prelims
- All Ages Show^^
- Tickets available at the Door or Eventbrite
- 5:00pm Doors, 6:00pm Matches Begin
- Bar service and concession

Day 2
- No Gi Submission Only. 
- All Ages. 
- Adult White, Blue, and Purple Belts.
- ADDED:  Brown and Black Belt Open Weight Divisions (under 175lb and over 175lb) for $$ and Belts if minimum 6 athletes per division.  Round Robin 5 or less competitors.  Single Elimination if over 5 athletes.
- Juvenile Colored Belt Open Division for Boys (16 - 17).
- Juvenile Colored Belt Open Division for Girls (15 - 17).
- Adult Open Weight Absolute (for medalists in Male Advanced Divisions)
- Adult Open Weight Absolute Division for all interested Females  

CONSIDERATIONS:
*Please consider registering up a weight class if there is a chance the athlete will need weight allowance by the time the tournament takes place.
*Please make sure the athletes age is as of tournament date, not registration date.
*In the No Gi Divisions (Beginner or Advanced) we ask you to make the most fair choice.
