KIDS DIVISIONS

Kids gi and nogi will each have 3 divisions

• Beginner  - Typically less than 1 year of grappling experience and/or first time competitors
• Intermediate - Approximately 1 to 2.5 years of grappling experience or has won a beginner competition previously
• Advanced - 2.5+ years of grappling experience, or has won an intermediate competition previously

We understand that different schools may utilize slightly different belt systems. The belt list above is just a rough guideline. Please utilize the years of experience and previous competition results as the primary indicator for which division to sign your child up for.

WOMENS DIVISIONS

Women’s gi will have 4 divisions and nogi will have 3 divisions

GI will have: white, blue, purple, and brown/black

NOGI will have: beginner, intermediate, and advanced

MENS DIVISIONS

Men’s gi will have 4 divisions and nogi will have 3 divisions

GI will have: white, blue, purple, and brown/black

NOGI will have: beginner, intermediate, and advanced
