ALPHA Winter Soldier Kids Tournament 2022 : December  10, 2022

Registration
We try to accommodate as many athletes as possible in our events comfortably, but there is a limit on the number of athletes in order to guarantee a high quality event.
Alpha Jiu Jitsu + Fitness reserves the right to close registration when we reach full capacity, or on the day of the appointed event registration deadline, whichever comes first.
We strongly suggest that athlete registration is finalized before making any travel arrangements.
Any false information provided during registration such as, but not limited to, DOB, may lead to immediate disqualification. Such actions are subject to suspension or even banishment from future Alpha events.

Competition Day - Show up Time and Weigh-in
It is the responsibility of the athlete to be knowledgeable of the rules and guidelines pertaining to the sport (as outlined in the IBJJF Rules Book).

WEIGH-INS: Takes place on the day of the event. You do not have to weigh-in with your gi on. You only need to weigh-in once if competing in several divisions. You must weigh-in anytime from the event opening until 60 minutes before your scheduled division start time. You must have officially weighed in by this hour before your division time and have made the weight, or else you will be disqualified and removed from the bracket.  

Rules - Single Elimination 

 The tournament will be on a point system WITHOUT advantages.

IBJJF legal submissions allowed.

No leg locks

No omoplatas

No pulling the head during a triangle choKe

No guillotines

No Wrist locks

No arm triangles

No Ezekiel chokes

No banana splits

Point scoring positions:

2 Points: Takedown, Knee on Belly, Sweep

3 Points: Guard pass

4 Points: Front Mount, Back Mount, Side/Technical Mount, and Back Grab (Back with hooks).
