Manitoba Open - Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Championship - Fall 2018

Manitoba’s longest running and largest bi-annual Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling Tournament.

The Manitoba Open is held twice a year to provide an organized, high quality tournament for all regional competitors to gain key competition experience and to test their skills. Our tournament has been developed to follow the same framework as many of the highest recognized international events.

We welcome and invite all academies to participate in our annual tournament and help the growth and recognition of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

** NEW ** Adult Absolute divisions (ALL SKILL LEVEL): Men and Women, GI and NOGI at the start of the day.
$20 per absolute division.  Special prize packs for all absolute winners!

Brackets will be posted online Friday Nov 2nd and are subject to change.

Changes to registration can be made up until Thursday Nov 1st, 2018

ADULTS:  Saturday, November 3, 2018 9:30AM (Sharp) - 4:30PM

KIDS:  Sunday, November 4, 2018 10:00AM (Sharp!) - 1:00PM

Doors open 45mins prior to start time.

WEIGH INS

Competitors will weigh must weight in when they arrive at the venue, before their first match. There is only one opportunity to check the weight. If the competitor does not make weight,they will be immediately disqualified.

New for 2018:  Adults can weigh-in with in GI or NOGI attire.  

Please make sure that you are in the correct weight division. You can not change divisions ,if you do not make your designated division. No changes will be accepted in the tournament day, no refund.

Competitors 14 and younger will have a 1lb weight allowance.
