Event Start 

Medal Ceremony starts 11am where kids will be cheered and celebrated for their efforts and awarded their medals while everyone claps. No medals available before 11am. The kids deserve this reward so we’ll need you to hang back until 11am :) 

If we can’t match you up on the day you will be offered a Gold Medal or Full Refund

• Local off-site street parking (short walk)
• Brackets will be released Friday 5pm 
• Weigh-ins Saturday 8am to 8:45am
• Fights start 9am
• IBJJF Rules (no advantages)
• 3 minute matches 
• Round Robin Format
• 2 player division will be best of 3
• Limited to 150 competitors
• Girls vs Girls & Boys vs Boys (unless parents request otherwise)
• Weight, Age and Experience match ups as fair as possible 

Winner Declared By
1.	Submissions (3 points)
2.	Match Wins (2 points)
3.	Other Wins (1 point)

We are awarding GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE for each division

If we can’t get you any matches on the day, you’ll be offered a Gold Medal or full refund. 

If you've ever attended any official competition held by the AFBJJ, The Australian Federation of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, then you'd know that these official comps are always in the format of single elimination. 

What does that mean?

It means if you lose, you're out. 

Round Robin means everyone gets multiple matches whether you win or lose, you'll get to experience a range of other competitors around your belt rank and weight. 

We will make sure to put your child in the most appropriate bracket, the last thing we want is to have inappropriate matchups that serve no-one.
