Leitrim Grappling Championships

Leitrim Grappling Championships will host its first event on April 29th in Morris Martial Arts gym, Carrick On Shannon.

This time will be for Juvenille 1 white belts(16 and under), Juvenille 2 white belts(17 year olds) and adults(white and blue belt) only and all is No-Gi. It is a very affordable competition and is round robin style event meaning you will have a minimum of 2 to 3 matches for your cost of entry.

Male and female absolute winners refunded full entry amount.

Matches will be sub only and no points system, however if no winner, the referee will pick a winner.

Weigh ins start at 9.30am, first match at 10am. 

Rules:

White belt - IBJJF Rules

Blue belt - No heel hooks, twisters or neck cranks.

No slams.

Takedowns and hip throws allowed.

Time limits:

Juvenille - 4 minute

White belts - 6 minute

Blue belts - 6 minute
