Refund Policy

NO REFUNDS

We cannot guarantee athletes will show up for the tournament. Therefore, we will not refund athletes who end up without a match due to a no-show or withdrawal of his/her opponent.

Refunds will be given on a case-by-case basis. Please note that failure to arrive to the event, failure to make weight or missed matches DO NOT QUALIFY FOR A REFUND.

In the event that the tournament is cancelled for whatever reason, all registered athletes will receive a full refund of their registration the same method that they paid.  The refund will be executed directly through the Smoothcomp platform and can take up to one-week (7 days) to process.

CREDITS

Credits are given to athletes who experience injury, sickness or emergent situations where it is beyond their ability to foresee the situation happening before the event.  This can be after the refund deadline even leading up to a day before the event.  A case by case basis is evaluated by our team and you will be addressed via email or phone call at the earliest convenience.

A typical "Credited" athlete will gain free entry into our next event.  We aim to plan 4 events per calendar year in multiple locations in Western Canada.

Exceptions

On Registration Check Day, athletes who are alone in their division may be eligible to receive a full refund of their registration if they email  [email protected] and request to withdraw their name from the competition before 11 AM MST that day. *If the athlete remains alone in the division by 2 PM, the refund will be processed.  Again, refund processes can take up to 7 days.

**If an athlete’s division becomes populated with an additional athlete(s) on or before 2 PM MST on the Registration Check Day, the athlete will remain in their division and will no longer qualify for a refund.

**If an athlete becomes ill leading up to competition day (48 hours or less), the athlete will no longer qualify for a full refund instead, will be granted a full credit into the next PEAK GRAPPLING event of their choice.

If athletes can no longer make it to the venue the day of the tournament for whatever reason, missed flight, car won't start, dog ate their homework, you will forfeit the registration cost.  We decide a possible credit to future events on a case by case basis.  It is within the full responsibility of the athletes to arrive early/ on time, in approved Gi/ NoGi attire, in their appropriate weight class ready to go.
