ROGUE Grappling 4 - MAYHEM

ROGUE Grappling is thrilled to welcome you back to our fourth and final event for the inaugural season - MAYHEM - coming to you through Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada on May 25th and 26th, 2019. MAYHEM will be a two day tournament, with Saturday, May 25th being in the Gi and Sunday, May 26th being No Gi. Absolute divisions both days. As with our previous event, the winners of the Absolute divisions will punch their ticket to a special, invitation-only event. Check us out on Facebook for more info.

THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE to qualify for the Season 1 invitationals.

Gi divisions sorted by belt level, NoGi divisions sorted by experience.
NoGi Beginner - less than 1 years experience in BJJ and/or submission grappling.
NoGi Intermediate - 1 to 3 years experience in BJJ and/or submission grappling.
NoGi Advanced - 3+ years experience in BJJ and/or submission grappling.

Weight Divisions
Men < 145, 146 - 160, 161 - 175, 176 - 190, 191 -205, 206+
Women < 130, 131 - 145, 146 - 160, 161 - 175, 176+
Note: Divisions may be combined, amended or created depending on registration.

Rules (Gi)Kids divisions, Under 9 years old - no submissions permitted; points only
Kids divisions, 10 - 12 years old - No standing guillotines, omoplatas, pulling the head in a triangle or submissions below the waist
Kids and Youth divisions, 13 - 17 years old - Nothing below the wait, no cranking or reaping
Adult, White Belt - Nothing below the waist except straight ankle lock
Adult, Blue Belt - Knee bar, Toe hold, Straight ankle, Wrist lock permitted
Adult, Purple/Brown/Black - All IBJJF Black Belt legal submissions except heel hooks; knee reaping is permitted (ie. a position like 4/11 will not result in a stoppage or DQ)

No jumping guard.

Match LengthKids and Youth - 3 minutes
Adults - 5 minutes
Absolute - 5 minutes

Kids divisions will compete first, followed by Adult advanced belts, Adult beginner belts and ending with Absolutes.

Registration, Pricing and Weigh Ins
Weigh ins will be done in your competition clothing (Gi and/or NoGi). Failure to make weight could result in a disqualification without refund. Please note that divisions may be combined or created depending on registrants at any given weight division or experience level. Divisions will be grouped together as close as possible by weight and experience level and are dependent on registrations.

Early Registration starts February 15th @ 9h and continues through May 19th @ 23h59. 
Late Registration starts May 20th @ midnight and continues through May 22nd @ 17h. 

Weigh Ins will run from 8h30 through 10h each morning, Kids matches will begin at 9h30 both days. We intend to allow your weigh in on Saturday to apply for Sunday's divisions if you compete both days. You may weigh in on Saturday in your NoGi competition wear. You will be afforded a 1 lb. allowance.

Kids and Youth, Early Registration - $40 for one day only, $60 for both days
Adults, Early Registration - $65 for one day only, $110 for both days
Absolute Only - $30 for one day, $50 for both
Absolute, if competing in another division - $10 for each day

To receive the discounted pricing you must have the divisions you want to compete in in your cart at the time of checkout.

Refund Policy

We will offer a 100% refund for cancellations received until May 19th @ 23h59, after which a 75% refund will apply for cancellations received by May 22nd at 17h.
