CYPRUS SPRING JIU-JITSU OPEN 2022

We invite you to the Cyprus Spring Jiujitsu Open 2022, hosted at the Agios Dometios Sports Center on the 21-22/5/2022. (Adress: Grigoris Afxentiou 156 Agios Dometios, 2365)

A two day BJJ Competition open to kids and adults. On the 21st the competition will be with Gi for both, kids and adults. On the 22nd the competition will be No Gi only for teens and adults. 

The event's goal is to promote the competition aspect of Jiu-jitsu in Cyprus.

All divisions will be run on a single elimination basis and will be following IBJJF rules. 

In case of only two entries in a category then the outcome will be based on best of three. 

DIVISIONS & WEIGHT CATEGORIES

Weight categories as per IBJJF rules for both Gi and NO GI.  

No Gi required for kids weight in!

MMA fighters, competitive wrestlers, Judo and Jiujitsu competitive athletes must fight at least as yellow belts for kids and blue belts for adults.

- Weigh ins are 1 hour before your division start time (will be published closer to the event). 

- Event's start time 10am sharp - weigh in begins from 9am.

-Registration is 25€ per entry for one day and 40€ for both days via Smoothcomp or cash payment.

- All participants will be insured in case of any injury during the competition.

- The day of the event all athletes need to sign a declaration form issued by the organizers.

- Professional medic on sight.

-Competitor Lists will be live throughout the registration process and can be viewed by checking out the registrations tab on the event page.

-Warm up area will be provided on sight. 

-Changes can be made prior to the week of the event.

-We reserve the right to merge you in case you are alone in your division.

- The event will be covered by Smoothcomp features.

- The results along with their final placements will be available live and updated on the event page.

-Best overall team will be available on the event page.
