2022 Grassroots Judo Winter Nationals Tournament Hosted by Nanka USJF SANCTION # 22-12-01
The Grassroots Judo Winter National Tournament returns in December 2022 after the pandemic interruption. Nanka Judo Yudanshakai is proud to be hosting this years event at the Felix Center of Azusa Pacific University. Located just north of the City of Los Angeles, close to several major airports, LA in December is the best way to escape those cold climes. This year we wish to encourage young competitors who have ambition and desire to climb towards potential olympic consideration for 2028. We eagerly are looking forward to players from several different countries competing this year. Good luck to you all.
USJF Sanction #22-12-01
This event is open to members in good standing of USJF, USJA and USA Judo. The full tournament Information Packet is available at https:/judowinternationals.com. Coaches can register for wristbands by using Smoothcomp. (https://smoothcomp.com/en/event/8859). The coaches meeting are 8:00am on each day of the tournament.
Shiai and Kata registrations must be completed online.
Registration will close on 11:59pm Tuesday 29th November 2022. Brackets to be published on Thursday 1st December 2022. Any requests to modify brackets must be submitted by email to [email protected] before 2pm on Friday December 2nd 2022, at which time the brackets will be finalized. Once finalized no other changes shall be considered. The ability to withdraw remains open until 11:59pm Friday December 2nd, 2022.
