10am-6pm

Divisions will be scheduled in order: Kids Gi, Kids No Gi, Adult Gi, Adult No Gi & Adult Absolute. 

WEIGH IN SCHEDULE

Weigh ins are done the same day as our tournaments at the venue from 8am-1pm

Please weigh in at least 1.5 hours prior to your scheduled match (this can change a lot depending on how quickly matches go)

Weigh-Ins are done wearing what you will be competing in. 

What is Jiu-Jitsu Battle?
Jiu-Jitsu Battle is an organization that will be hosting Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Events in 2023.

Who can register?
This is an open tournament and anyone can register. From White to Black Belts, Adult, Master, Kids and Juveniles, for both Gi and No-Gi Divisions.

What are the rules?
JJB operates under the rules and guidelines of the IBJJF rule sets.

What type of brackets does JJB use?

• If there are less than 4 competitors in a division, brackets may be combined.
• If a competitor does not show up, or is unable to fight in a division (ex. from an injury in a previous division), the entire bracket may be re-drawn to provide a more fair outcome for the remaining competitors. This helps prevent situations where a competitor gets a bye to the finals.

• Competitors are given a minimum of five minutes to rest in between matches.
• Round Robin format for 3-man brackets. In case of a tie (where all competitors win one match), the following criteria will be used as tie-breakers to determine the winner (listed in defending order of importance): Highest number of wins by submission; Highest number of wins by points; Highest number of wins by referee decision; Shortest match length (if the number of wins by submission is tied); Higher number of accumulated points (if the number of wins by points is tied), including advantages. In the very rare case that competitors are still tied, placement will occur by referee decision.
