The Kansas City Open Championship

Tournament will be held at the Harrah's Casino, 1 Riverboat Dr, North Kansas City, MO 64116.  on Sept 18, 2021.

Adult Weigh-ins will start at 0900-0955 Gi and No-Gi (weigh-in with the uniform) Saturday Sept 18th day of competition.

Friday September 17, 2021 at Harrah's ballroom early weigh-ins 5:30pm to 7:00pm. 

Adult Competition will start with the Gi followed by NoGi from 1000-1300.

Kids, Teens Weigh-ins will start at 1230-1300.

Kids and Teens Competition will start  at 1330-1730.

Pro Jiu Jitsu Super fights: doors will open at 6:30pm first fight will start at 8pm on an elevated platform, the event will have a pay-per-view live stream available.  

Awards will be continuous throughout the tournament, Athletes will be awarded a Gold, Silver and Bronze custom event Medal, respectively for placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Overall Team Trophies (Adult and kids) will be presented at the closing ceremony at the conclusion of the competition. (ALL Members must be registered under the same team and or affiliation)

All Rules are as per IBJJF. No advantages for kids, Teens.

Spectators entry fee is $10 at the door. (FREE admission Kids under 10, must be accompanied by an adult).

CHARITY OF CHOICE: Ronin Foundation and CXBJJ Championships LLC have come together in partnership to further help provide therapeutic relief to active duty Military members through Jiu-Jitsu. Ronin Foundation is a non-profit foundation that provides scholarships to military active duty members to train Jiu-Jitsu at approved training facilities; CXBJJ Championships LLC is committed to help in this process.

COMPETITOR LISTS: Competitor Lists will be LIVE throughout the registration process and can be viewed by checking out the registrations tab on the event page. We encourage everyone to login by the last day of registration and check their details along with the competitor lists, and not wait until the brackets are published and locked in to confirm such details.

CHANGING DIVISIONS: After registration closes, all competitors (or coaches, parents) have until 5PM the following day to make any changes to their registrations. You can make these changes by logging into your account and modifying your registration details. After this change deadline, the registration will become locked in, and there will be no further changes allowed. Competitors who are alone in their division should choose to either self-move themselves up a division or cancel their registration for a full credit.
