IMPORTANT INFORMATION 📢

⚖WEIGH INS⚖

The scales will be open for weigh in from 8:00am. Make sure you are weighed in at least 1hour before your match is scheduled to start. Keep an eye on your Smoothcomp and refresh your browser for live updates.

We will be strict on weight. You must be under your registered weight or risk disqualification.

👮‍♂️MAT MARSHALLS👮‍♀️

We will have 4 competition mats running throughout the tournament and each mat will be allocated one Mat Marshalls. The Mat Marshall will be responsible for taking the competitors to their respective mat and once their bracket has finished back to the bull pen, or medal podium if they take a placing.

🥇MEDAL CEREMONY🏅

To keep the tournament flowing we will award the medals at the completion of each bracket. Therefore once the bracket has finished the Mat Marshall will accompany the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners to the medal podium to receive their medals.

⛑FIRST AID🚑

We have professional staff available all the tournament to take care of any first aid needs

LUNCH BREAK

We have factored in a lunch break after the completion of the kids brackets to clear the mats before the juvenile and adults begin.

🍖FOOD & COFFEE☕

Avoid disappointment and frustration on the day

Parents and caregivers, any children or Adults that weigh in over their registered weight division will be disqualified immediately. 

There will be NO changing of divisions for children on the day and NO refunds will be given

BJJNZ will not tolerate any abuse towards staff around disqualification, your weight is your responsibility, not ours - make sure you are below at weigh in or face DQ.

COACHING 

There are no coaches or parents permitted in the fighting area. For our children divisions we have a great team of  Mat Marshall's that help your child through the process. Please bring your child to the bull pen area, and if they are shy or upset request that one of our  Marshall's come and escort them to their gym group.
