$15 admission for anybody who is not competing.
Registration:
Register by March 29th at 11:59 PM: $100 (Same price for 1 or 2 Divisions)
Register by April 12th at 11:59pm: $115 (Same price for 1 or 2 Division)
Register by April 26th at 11:59pm: $130 (Same Price for 1or 2 Divisions)
Adults - Add the Absolute: $30 per division
**You must register for at least one regular division to participate in the Absolute!
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! We do not take late registrations or registrations the day of the event!

- Kids/Teens: 45 lbs, 55 lbs, 65 lbs, 75 lbs, 85 lbs, 95 lbs, 105 lbs, 115 lbs, 125 lbs, 135 lbs, 145 lbs, 145+ lbs
- Adults: 135 lbs, 145 lbs, 155 lbs, 170 lbs, 185 lbs, 205 lbs, 230 lbs, 230+ lbs
SKILL DIVISIONS:
- Kids/Teens Gi: White Belt, Gray Belt, Yellow Belt, Orange Belt, Green Belt
- Kids/Teens No-Gi: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
- Adult Gi: White Belt, Blue Belt, Purple Belt, Brown Belt, Black Belt
- Adult No-Gi: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
- Adult Gi Absolute: White Belt, Blue Belt, Advanced (Purple/Brown/Black)
- Adult No-Gi Absolute: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
Format:
Sub Spectrum utilizes a Round Robin format for all regular Kids, Teens, and Adult divisions capped at 10 competitors!
Divisions with 2 competitors will operate under a best-of-three format.
Divisions with 3-5 competitors will operate under a normal round robin format.
Divisions with 6-10 competitors will operate under a group stage round robin where competitors will be split in 2 round robin groups with the winners of each group facing off for 1st and 2nd and the second places from each group facing off for bronze following the group stage.
This means that you will be able to compete in multiple matches regardless of outcome! We believe in giving you what you paid for, competitive submission grappling experience!
All Absolute & Feature Divisions will utilize a Single Elimination format.
Weigh-Ins:
Day-before weigh-ins will be available on Friday April 29th from 6-7 PM.
Day-of weigh-ins will be available on Saturday starting at 7:30 AM. Competitors need to be weigh in 60 minutes prior to the scheduled start time for your first division!
You will only need to weigh in once if you are competing in multiple divisions and you will not be required to weigh in wearing your gi.
There is a 3 lbs allowance to account for differences in scales and to account for clothing. Please keep your clothes on while weighing in. Our weigh-in staff will account for the weight of your shirt/shorts.
You will not be allowed to switch divisions the day of the event. All changes and edits to your registration must be made by Thursday April 28th at 11:59 PM.
If you miss weight for your registered division - you will be immediately disqualified.
Competitor LISTS:
Competitors lists will be available to view throughout the registration period on the "Registrations" tab of the event page.
If you do not see anybody registered for your division - register anyways! In the event that we are not able to place you in a fair division, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your registration credit to a future event. By registering you may
Brackets & Schedule:
Event brackets and schedule will be available to view on the event page (Brackets and Schedule tab) no later than 12:00 PM Central on Thursday April 28th.
Brackets and Schedule will be available to view on television screens set up at the event, as well as on your mobile device!
Registration Edits:
You will have until 11:59 PM on Thursday April 28th to make any necessary changes to your registration. Changes to your registration can be made by logging into your account and editing your registration details.
After this time, you will not be able to make any changes or edits to your registration.
Awards and Podium:
1st (Gold), 2nd (Silver), and 3rd (Bronze) Place medals will be awarded for each division! Medalists will be photographed on the podium and photographs will be available to view on the Sub Spectrum website - www.subspectrumbjj.com
Results:
Results will be updated LIVE throughout the event and displayed on the "Result" tab of the event page!
Refunds:
Full refunds will only be issued for registrations cancelled during the Normal Registration period (until 11:59 PM on March 29th)
Full credits will be issued for registrations cancelled during the Late Registration period and up until the edit/change deadline (until 11:59 PM on April 28th)
Following the edit/change deadline (11:59 PM on Thursday April 28th), no refunds or credits will be issued.
You can receive full refunds or credits by logging into your Smoothcomp account and cancelling your registration before the necessary deadlines listed above.
Medical Staff:
There will be a professionally trained and certified medic on sight for the event. The Medic will be available for competitors to receive ice, evaluation, and advice in the event of an injury.
Event Staff:
We are always in need of experienced referees and event staff to assist with the event!
